Plain-English Summary

To keep support contempt moving, this rule closes off post-trial motions. No motion for post-trial relief may be filed against orders entered under the civil-contempt rules; a party who disagrees pursues an appeal instead. That keeps enforcement from stalling in repeated trial-court motions.

Can a support contempt order be challenged by a post-trial motion?
