The Kansas Rules of Civil Procedure are codified by the Legislature at K.S.A. Chapter 60, Article 2 — which by its own terms (60-201(a)) may be cited as “the rules of civil procedure”, and in practice as “K.S.A.”. They govern procedure in the district courts of Kansas.
