Nebraska's Chapter 6 rules govern practice in the state's trial courts — district and county courts, separate juvenile courts, and problem-solving courts — cited as “Neb. Ct. R. § 6-N”. Adopted by the Supreme Court of Nebraska under its constitutional superintending authority, they run from case-progression standards through the pleading and discovery rules for civil cases. It is the companion to the Nebraska Revised Statutes, Chapter 25, the Legislature's own statutory Code of Civil Procedure.
